A. Show Responsibilities
Although I went into the show uncertain of my responsibilities, by end I found out what I was responsible for and made a list since my job description didn't formally exist at the University prior to this project:
•    Researching & Deciding Video Switching Platform
•    Researching & Deciding Video Ingest Method
•    Making & Maintaining a Video Signal Path
•    Ensuring that Video Ingest method is still allows performers to effectively rehearse
•    Troubleshooting technical issues as they relate to performers video, hardware, and internet connection
•    Making any video related tutorials necessary
•    Communicating with the Design team and Director to effectively implement their ideas and design concepts where  possible into video production
•    Giving input into the video streaming platform
•    Acquiring & Maintaining a computer system that is capable of running the show
•    Learning the picked Video Switching Platform
•    “Cueing”/Building the video show file before and during technical rehearsals
•    Running the Video Switching Platform during performances
•    Editing any performances if necessary
•    Ensuring successful upload/playback of performance to the video steaming platform
B. Need for Contingency
Throughout the process of building the show there we didn't develop a Plan B if I became unable to work or if my computer system had a major error. If we were continuing a longer show run it would have made sense to secure or assemble another computer system or even full rig capable of running the show. Also having a plan for who would run the video so they could be trained. If this was the case I would have built a video "show bible" for reference to describe the in-depth workings of each element of the technical system so anyone could pick up the show and run it. However, for this production if we got one good recording, even in tech, we could have used that for all 10 performances. We did multiple recordings so the lottery could come into play and people could see the same show with a different casting if they wanted.
C. Stage Management
I also was assigned the role of Stage Manager on the production which had tradition SM responsibilities just adapted for a virtual setting. However that was not the focus of this submission. If you would like to see some of the work I did as a Stage Manager for the production please look to the right for sample paper work and below for my responsibilities:

•    Running rehearsals, production meetings, technical rehearsals, and performances
•    Making & Distributing paperwork and reports for those events
•    Aiding communicating between all members of the company
